Because this is my idea of fun. Strip a baby down to his diaper, give him a pile of rice cereal on his highchair tray and a spoon, and take pictures of his reactions.
Joel and I have been married for 14 years now, and dating since 1999! I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to praise God alongside this man!
Zachary Wayne
Zachary is our nine-year-old boy! He is all boy, loves Legos, Star Wars, and watching sports with Daddy! Zachary just soaks up learning! We are so thankful that he loves praising Jesus already, and hope that we'll have many more years to teach him what loving God really means! Zachary is our very first blessing, and his name means "God has remembered".
Natalie Grace
Natalie is our little sweetheart, our seven-year-old daughter! I can't believe how she's grown up in the last year! Of course, she has to keep up with Zachary, and she loves to cuddle with both Mommy and Daddy, and to be a mama to anyone who will let her, especially Davey. :)
David Isaac
Davey, our second son, was born in July 2011 - we are so thankful for him!! He is my crazy climber, my clean house wrecker, and my littlest joy. He is our class clown, always walking around with something on his head or dancing to make us laugh!! David Isaac means Beloved Laughter, and he lives up to his name!
Why Ceaseless Praises?
The inspiration for my blog's title, "Ceaseless Praises", comes from the hymn, "Take My Life and Let it Be", where the hymnwriter asks God to "take my moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise".
Each of us wear many different 'hats' throughout the weeks and years of our lives. My collection of 'hats' includes mommy, wife, blogger, housekeeper, friend. Through all of the unique opportunities that God sends my way each day, whether in 'real life' or online, I strive to ceaselessly bring praise to His name alone. My prayer is that every word I post on this blog will be glorifying to God, and will give all the praise to Him.
