He was 2 years old when he pee trained and didnt poop train till he was 3 and a half! I would get SO frustrated. I tried making him sit in it, disciplind him, made him clean out his own underware, you name it I tried. What made him finally train was having him stay with my aunt when I had my second. He was embarrased to poop his pants for her. Then we went to the chiropractor soon after Kender was born and he was out in the waiting area with my sister while I got adjusted. I came out and smelled that he had gone in his pants, arrrrg. I didnt have a change of clothes for him so he had to wear just a diaper out to the car and then home, he was SO self conscious. That was the end of it. I dont think he had any accidents after that. Anyway, a book to say it may just take him being embarrased (which might take awhile for him to feel that way, my son was well over three and a half at this point), hang in there! I too am starting the lovely potty training with my third (this will be the third time I started with her, Im such an unmotivated potty trainer). Keep us posted on how it goes.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12481981892752988536noreply@blogger.com
